Answer: He assigned several key positions in his administration to women.

Explanation: I got this question right on Edmentum. Also on page 20 of the lesson it says "FDR also contributed to women's causes by assigning several key positions to women."

Although women's causes were not at the top of FDR's priority list at this time, he indirectly helped them by creating more jobs in the economy open to women, and championing their right to be independent economically.
