i dont know the answer per see but i know a little about the patriot act; it was signed in by George bush after the 9/11 attack. it is an acronym "Uniting and Strengthening America by Providing Appropriate Tools Required to Intercept and Obstruct Terrorism". this allows them to intercept any communications relating to terrorism or abuse. it is an anti terrorism act. i hope this helps.
