is found in DNA and mRNA.
Codon is complementary to a triplet of template strand.
It determines the position of an amino acid in a polypeptide.


Anticodon
It occurs in tRNA.
It is complementary to a codon
it helps in bringing a particular amino acid at its proper position during translation.
