The Iranian revolution resulted the Pahlavi dynasty being overthrown and losing power. The leader at the time, Mohammad Reza Shah Pahlavi was supported by the United States. So, the fact that this leader was overthrown reflects anti-foreign sentiment, not pro-foreign sentiment.
