t(n) = 2n + 3
t(3) = 2(3) + 3
t(3) = 6 + 3
t(3) = 9

the 3rd term would be n=3 so...
2 x 3 = 6 +3 = 9
The 3rd term in the sequence n=2n+3 is 9
Hope this helps :)
