AP US History question:

To what extent did the goals of American foreign policy change in the years 1930-1941? For what reasons did these goals change?

During this time period the US went from being an almost entirely isolationist country to an interventionalist one, primarily because they emerged from WWII as the main superpower in the world. They felt a need to "police" other countries to prevent another World War.
