3y + 3x =24
6y+3x = 39
subtract first equation from second
6y-3y+3x-3x=39-24
3y=15
y=5
put this value in first equation 3y+3x=24
3*5+3x=24
15+3x=24
3x=9
x=3
Answer: (3;5)
