The coordinates of the vertices of figure ABCD are A(4, 2), B(2, 2), C(4, 3), and D(6, 2). Figure ABCD was dilated, with the center of dilation at the origin, to produce figure AꞌBꞌCꞌDꞌ with vertices Aꞌ(32, 16), Bꞌ(16, 16), Cꞌ(32, 24), and Dꞌ(48, 16).

What was the scale factor of the dilation?

It is easily observed that every coordinate was scaled up by a factor of 8.
(2×8=16, 3×8=24, 4×8=32, 6×8=48)
