the area of a rectangle garden is 38 1/4 square meters.The width of the garden is 4 1/2 meters.Find the length of the garden.

Area = 38 1/4 = 153/4

Width = 4 1/2 = 9/2

Area = Length x Width

Length = Area/Width

So divide both of them:

\sf{ (153)/(4) / (9)/(2) =\sf{ (153)/(4) * (2)/(9) = (9 * 17)/(2* 2)* (2)/(9) = (17)/(2)

So the length is equal to
\boxed{\sf{(17)/(2)}}
