To solve for this you need to solve for y. Equation should look like this y=mx+b Once your done solving for y, look for the y intercept which is the b, then plot that number on the y axis on the coordinate plane then look at the slope the mx if it is not a fraction already put a 1 under it. Then do rise over run to find your next point on the coordinate plane. And that's about it of graphing system of equation

2x + 1y = 5 ⇒ 2x + 1y = 5
1x + 2y = 4 ⇒ 2x + 4y = 8
-3y = -3
-3 -3
y = 1
2x + 1 = 5
- 1 - 1
2x = 4
2 2
x = 2
(x, y) = (2, 1)
