How do you solve 5s divided by 7=30 and other equations like it

You subtract similar numbers or variables. Like you take 7 from both sides in this equation. So subtract like numbers/ variables. Then you divide the rest. For example. 5s=23. You divide both sides by 5 to isolate the variable. Then, you have your answer.
