Help me please, The similarities between the nervous and endocrine system are exemplified by adrenalin (also called epinephrine). Adrenalin is an amino acid-based hormone, but it (along with norepinephrine) is also a neurotransmitter in the sympathetic nervous system. In both systems, adrenalin binds with membrane-embedded receptors, which causes a response in the interior of the cell. Is adrenalin's dual role an advantage or disadvantage? Why or why not?
