Some of the problems caused by rapid industrialization were: 1) over crowding of the cities; 2) this overcrowding under bad living conditions (dirty and unhealthy) caused health problems, many citizens got sick; 3) harsh conditions of work in factories: many hours under dirty and dangerous conditions, with low salaries, under a strict discipline, leaded fatigue, illnesses and short life expectancy of the workers; 4) child labor under not regulated and unsafe conditions.
