It's important to not misuse or overuse antibiotics because of the risk of drug addiction, and the side effects (overdose, and decline in physical health) of having misused and/or overused an antibiotic. In fact misusing or overusing antibiotics could create more problems than what you originally used the antibiotics for.

Ans.

Antibiotic misuse or antibiotic abuse represents misuse or overuse of antibiotics that causes several serious health effects. It leads to development of antibiotic resistance in bacteria and other pathogens. MDR (multiple drug resistance) is a dangerous consequence of antibiotic abuse.

Bacteria with MDR are known as super bugs as they have become resistant to multiple drugs and cause life-threatening diseases.

Thus, it is important not to overuse or misuse antibiotics.
