A baseball diamond has the shape of a square with side

lengths of 90 feet. A catcher wants to get a player running from first base to
second base out.  How far is it from home
plate to second base?

Well so far the pitcher has gone 180 degrees so all you have to do is 360 -180 because a quadrant sequels 360 degrees in total and 90 + 90 = 180 and 360 - 180 = 180
