The New Deal under Franklin Roosevelt ushered in a new era or progressiveness, in which Americans saw the government intervene in order to give them peace of mind and a sence of financial and physical stability. Many of the ND reforms, such as deposit insurance and Social Security continue to play a huge role in helping Americans.
