The correct answer is
D)Economic growth and social change.
The Gilded Age saw significant economic growth for several different reasons. For one, the industrialization of American society became widespread at this time. Thousands of factories will the ability to mass produce goods were being built during this era. This period of industrialization resulted in the development of electricity, the cheap production of steel, and the building of skyscrapers. All of these factors helped drive the American economy.
Along with this, there was significant social change during the Gilded Age. African-Americans gained significant political rights in the US thanks to the 14th and 15th amendments. These laws gave African-American men the right to vote and granted citizenship to all people born on US soil. A significant number of immigrants also caused a social change in America. Immigrants from all over Europe moved to America in hopes of a better life with more freedom.
