Answer: $2 and $8 or $4 and $6.

Explanation:

Given statement : Kia paid $10 for two charms.

Then, the possible combinations of their costs would be :

10=1+9

10=2+8

10=3+7

10=4+6

10=5+5

But, the price of each charm was a multiple of $2 i.e. only even numbers.

Then , the possible combinations of their costs would be :

10=2+8

10=4+6

Hence, the the possible prices of the charms : $2 and $8 or $4 and $6.
