Ellen separated the area of a poster into four equal sections. The perimeter of the poster is 120 inches. What is the area of each section of the poster?
**(The picture on my worksheet show 24 in for the length)
so the length is 24 on top and bottom
the width has to be 36 on each side)
24+24+36+36= 120 perimeter
My answer is 216
(A=LxW)
so 24x36=864
divided by 4 = 216 EACH SECTION
