Two Questions.

1st Question:
What is the mean of 1.74, 2.8, 3.4, 0.96, 2, and 1.22?

2nd Question:
Over the summer, Ty earned $120 babysitting. He spent 3/5 of the money to buy a new bike and saved the rest.
a. How much did he spend on the bike?
b. What Percent of his earnings did he save?

the mean of the
1._ 2.02 add all the numbers to get 12.12 now divide by the number of numbers there are 12.12/6=2.02

1. 2.02 (1.74+2.8+3.4+0.96+2+1.22=12.12/6)

2. a. He spent $72 on the bike (3/5=0.6 and 120*0.6=72)

b. 51.74% spent so 49.26% saved.
