How is the slope of (3,-1), (6,7) equal 8/3

m = ( y_(2) - y_(1) )/( x_(2) - x_(1) ) = (7 - (-1))/(6 - 3) = (7 + 1)/(6 - 3) = (8)/(3)
The slope of (3, -1) and (6,7) is equal to 8/3 by subtracting 7 and -1 to make it equal to
8 using the slope equation.

Slope formula is
(y_2-y_1)/(x_2-x_1)
So 7-(-1)=8 and 6-3=3
Thus the slope of the line is
(8)/(3)
