Is 1/sec^2(θ) the same as cos^2(θ)

(1)/(sec^2\theta)=cos^2\theta\\\\L=(1)/(\left((1)/(cos\theta)\right)^2)=(1)/((1)/(cos^2\theta))=1:(1)/(cos^2\theta)=1\cdot(cos^2\theta)/(1)=cos^2\theta=R
