4x4=16. So think of it like this now..
3x-16=65
Add 16 in each side and you get 3x=81. Divide 3 with 81 and should be 27, or x=27.
Then you check it by putting in the #'s
3(27)-4(4)=65
81-16=65
65=65 ✔️
