Dosha is creating a new dessert that has two layers shaped like cones. The inner cone is frozen ice cream and has a diameter of 10 cm and a height of 6 cm. The outer layer is a thin wafer shell, like an upside-down ice cream cone, with a height of 14 cm and the same diameter as the inner layer. Dosha will inject a cream filling into the space.

What is the volume of the cream filling? Round your answer to one decimal place and use 3.14 to approximate pi.

first find volume of inner cone and outer cone then subtract inner from outer

so inner=1/3 (base area) times height
1/3 times (pi times 10^2) times 6
1/3 times 3.14 times 100 times 6
1/3 times 314 times 6
314 times 6/3=628=volume of inner cone

outer cone
base area=314
1/3 times 314 times 14=1456.33

so subtract 628 from 1456.33

1456.33-628=837.3 cm^3
