51% is 51/100 which is .51
Of means to multiply
.51*62=?
31.62
I'm not sure if you need to round it, but that's how you do the work

First you know 51% is rounded to 50%. Then you do 50% of 62 or 1/2 times 62. This will give you 31. So the estimate of 51% of 62 is 31.
51% = 50%
1/2 * 62 or 62 ÷ 2 = 31
Answer: 31
