so everyone knows, xy means x times y, not the digits themselves
so mp-5p
subsitute -4 for m and 2 for p
(-4)(2)-[(5)(2)]
-8-[10]
-18

You can substitute in the values. So m=-4 so put that in instead of m. And p=2 so put that in instead of p.
The problem is then (-4)(2)-5(2). Simplify to -8-10 And your final answer is -18. Wasnt aware you could edit these after you made them haha. I did correct my math in my comments riaght after the post. Sorry about that guys ^.^
