This is to be solved from similarity of triangles, so according to similar triangles' rules, The ratio of the length of side DC to the length of side AC is equal to the ratio of the length of side ED to the side AB. So we can solve from the proportion,
$\frac { 10 }{ 25 } =\frac { 5 }{ x }$
