What happens on the side of earth opposite the moon?

The sun and moon gets the angle of a seabed coming up the coast land and the high ocean currents and winds all affect the height of the tides.

On the side of Earth opposite the Moon, people over there don't see
the Moon, for about 12 hours and 20 minutes. Then they see it again.
And they tend to have a high tide somewhere around the middle of that
period of time. I mean if they live on the coast, of course.

Didn't you really mean to ask about the side of the Moon opposite the Earth ? ?
That story is a lot more interesting.
