The outlier is the one that does not follow the path. It sits farther away from the others on the chart. On your chart the outlier is the kid who is 17 years old and read 72 pages.

The outlier is the one furthest away from all of them. It's the random one. So it's that one on the top of the plot. It says that it read 72 pages
