How did the Underground Railroad work? There were a couple of set routes with regular paths. Slaves hid and slept during the day and traveled at night. Safe places to hide and sleep were called stations. all of the above none of the above

they had secret homes with abolitionist living in them and they had many path so the traveled in the dark and rested in the morning.
