divide 60 by 2 and answer is 30

divide 24 by 2 and answer is 12

You would solve 1/2 of 60 by multiplying 60 by .50 (1/2) which would give you 30.
You would solve 1/2 of 24 by multiplying 24 by .50 (1/2) which would give you 12.
