It helps scientist people NASA etc to discover new planets see the way a meteor is going and take images of outer space and earth and other planets and a lot of cool stuff.

capture pictures and video of outer space in order to further analyze meteors, planets, debris, etc.. (usually helpful for people who work in NASA)
