My solution to the problem is as follows:

Divide by 1 and start with:

x^2 / 6 + y^2 / 2 = 1

Since the general form is:

(x−h)^2 / a^2 + (y−k)^2 / b^2 = 1

You can continue my solution and after which, you can now arrive at
the center, vertices, and foci of the ellipse.

I hope my answer has come to your help. God bless and have a nice day ahead!
