Two pools are being filled with water. To start, the first pool contains

1285
liters of water and the second pool contains
1600
liters of water. Water is being added to the first pool at a rate of
32.75
liters per minute. Water is being added to the second pool at a rate of
22.25
liters per minute.

1. After how many minutes will the two pools have the same amount of water?
2. How much water will be in each pool when they have the same amount?

Volume of first pool - V1(t) = 1285 + 32.75t
Volume of 2nd pool - V2(t) = 1600 + 22.25t

Find t when V1 = V2

Equating we get - 1285 + 32.75t = 1600 + 22.25t
Solving for t we get 87.14 minutes

To find the Volume just substitute this value of t in one of the equations
