The correct answer is - the Armenian population.

Because of the prejudice and nationalism of the Young Turks multiple ethnic groups in Turkey were suffering, but the one that suffered the most was the Armenian population in the northwestern part of the country. The Young Turks performed a genocide over the Armenian population and brutally killed almost all of them. It is still a genocide that has not been really given the recognition as a major genocide, which the Turks often negate, and the Armenians are understandably very angry about it.
