If y varies directly with x, then whatever is done to y is also done to x, and vice versa.

All of the answers relate to when the value of y is positive 1, meaning we have divided the original y by -10.

We must also do this to x, as they are directly proportionate, meaning x = 2 now becomes x = -1/5
