For the answer to the question above,
the given are:
1997 - 5,000
2012 - 9,500
9,500 - 5,000 = 4,500
2012 - 1997 = 15 years
(9,500/5,000)^1/15 - 1
1.9^1/15 - 1
1.043718 - 1 = 0.043718
0.043718 * 100% = 4.3718%
So the answer is D.) 4.37
