Hello there.

Explain why the focus of a parabola is never on the parabola itself

focus of the parabola is the point which the parabola wraps itself around, for lack of a better word.

This is because the focus of the parabola is the point which the parabola wraps itself around, for lack of a better word.

The only point we need to be really concerned about that is on the parabola is the vertex, right at the center.

I hope my answer has come to your help. God bless and have a nice day ahead!
