The term given to a codon that signals the end of a growing polypeptide is called the STOP CODON. In RNA the stop codons are UAG, UAA and UGA. Any of those signal the end of a growing polypeptide. The equivalent codons in DNA are TAG, TAA and TGA. Hope this is the answer that you are looking for.
