ABCD is similar to RSTV. What does RS equal when AB=10, DC=15, ST=30, TV=18, and RV=24?

Two figures that have the same shape are said to be similar. When two figures are similar, the ratios of the lengths of their corresponding sides are equal. To determine if the triangles below are similar, compare their corresponding sides. We do as follows:

DC/TV = AB/RS
15/18 = 10/RS
RS = 10(18) / 15
RS = 12
