Ella calculated the missing side length of one of these triangles using the Pythagorean Theorem. Which triangle is it? Four triangles are shown. Triangle A has sides marked 3 and 5. Well it sounds like C is the only triangle with a right angle which is required to use the Pythagorean theorem.

To use the Pythagorean theorem, the triangle must have a right angle between the legs of the triangle. So it looks like triangle C is the answer.
