Macbeth is a play that remains relevant and interesting over 400 years after it was written, as is the case with many of Shakespeare’s works. Why is Shakespeare still worth reading?

Shakespeare is worth reading because the topics he deals with in his plays are always present regardless of the society. Macbeth is about absolute power that corrupts absolutely, and how people who want to be kings/emperors/presidents, often do evil deeds in order to achieve their goals. Hamlet is about revenge and many other things, which is why it is also worth reading. All his plays are still relevant in contemporary societies.
