Hey mate!

So in question we have to find the value of circumference (c) of given circle. The extra given data provided in information is that the radius (r) of circle is 2.3m. So basically we have given data:

  • Radius (r) = 2.3m

  • Value of (π) = 3.142 or 22/7

  • Circumference (c) = ?

The standard formula for calculating circumference for any circle is given by,

=> 2πr

Substituting values in given formula we'll do get our required answer.

=> 2 × 3.142 × 2.3

=> 6.284 × 2.3

=> 14.4532

  • So the circumference of circle is 14.4532.

MANY MORE CONCEPTS TO LEARN!!!

1) Diameter - It is the length which is twice that of the radius. (D = 2R)

2) Radius - It is the length which is half of the diameter.

3) Circumference - It is basically the perimeter of the circle.

4) Chord - It is line which who have it's endpoint located on the arc of circle without passing through the centre of circle.
