If an image is translated (x-3, y+2),

a) what happened to the x-coordinate

b) what happened to the y-coordinate

If for example the origin is (0,0) the coordinate system is (x,y) then your x value in this case is -3 and your y coordinate is 2 written as (-3,2) the x coordinate moves 3 to the left and the y coordinate move 2 up from the origin (0,0) hope this helps!
