It's Considered Markup Because Your Adding Sale Profits Into It.

Its Like Bulk Buying. You Buy This Much Quantity Of A Product With A Discounted Price By The Manufacturer To Retail Sale It For A Higher Wage For Your Online Business Or Store to Make Profits To Grow Your Company.

Markup, for profit!
The cost is 100, without markup.
The price is how much it's on sail for (120)

I personally worked in a groceries store for 2 years.
