D) An imperialist country isn't in control because the colonized people force it to meet certain expectations. Due to British Empire's dictatorship, Orwell who serves as an British Officer were being hated by the Burmese people. Through his bad experiences he better understands that imperialism has a negative effect both in the society and people.
