#1) Does this illustration show an earlier or later stage of succession?

Answer: This illustration shows a later stage of succession. Because of the fact that it had been swept by fire 20 years ago.

#2) which kind of succession has taken place?

Answer: The kind of succession that has taken place is Secondary Succession. This is the sequence of changes that take place after an existing community is severely disrupted in some way. In this case it was a fire 20 year ago.

#3) Explain what will happen in this ecosystem if there are no more disturbances.

Answer:
If there are no more disturbances it is more than likely that this ecosystem will become a boreal forest once again.

I hope it helps, Regards.
