5x - 6y = 1
2x + 2y = 18....multiply by 3
--------------
5x - 6y = 1
6x + 6y = 54 (result of multiplying by 3)
--------------add
11x = 55
x = 55/11
x = 5
5x - 6y = 1
5(5) - 6y = 1
25 - 6y = 1
-6y = 1 - 25
-6y = -24
y = -24/-6
y = 4
solution is (5,4)
