Scientists have created a 10-nanometer transistor for use in computers. A nanometer is 10 to the power of -9. What is the length of the transistor in meters? (Nanometer to meter)

1 nanometer is equal to 10^-9 meters, or 0.000000001 meters.  The transistor is ten nanometers, so we multiply 0.000000001 by 10, which equals 0.00000001.  And that's the length of the transistor.
