Think of it like this:

3^(2) = 9

3^(4) = 81

3^(6) = 729

9 · 81 · 729 = 531,441


3^(12) = 531,441

Or you could simply add together the powers, which I now realize would be a lot simpler.

2 + 4 + 6 = 12
